There are several ways you can become a member of the club.
- Apply online by choosing one of the membership plans above.
- Apply for membership in person at one of our Monthly Meetings.
- Apply by mail, just print out our Membership Form and follow the included instructions to complete your application.
Membership Dues
Dues for those renewing their memberships are payable in January. New members may join at any time. Joining after September 1st confers membership to the following year.
Annual: Individuals $20 / Family $25
(add a $1 fee for applying online)
Lifetime: Individuals $200 / Family $250
(add a $5 fee for applying online)
Membership dues support the club by enabling us to offer special programs, host guest speakers, and learn from expert mycologists at forays.

- Attend AMC forays. Membership is REQUIRED for foray participation.
To sign up for spring Morel forays you must be a member by March 1st!
- Members-only AMC events, classes and the annual Christmas party.
- Monthly newsletter, which includes foray details and educational info.
- Discounts on NAMA membership and AMC merchandise such as T-shirts and cook books.
AMC Forum
Starting sometime in 2020 we will have our own forum integrated into the website. This forum will be mostly for members. As you may know, Yahoo groups has been discontinued, so we have decided moving the forum to our website will be another perk of becoming a member.
NAMA Membership
AMC is affiliated with the North American Mycological Association (NAMA) whose purpose is to promote, pursue, and advance the science of mycology. Members of our club receive a discount on NAMA dues. NAMA membership provides you with a newsletter and yearly magazine and entitles you to attend NAMA-sponsored forays around the country. Contact: www.namyco.org
